How do I create a document?

If you’ve created a project in “Local Mode” you can start right away. If you’ve decided to run the project in “Server Mode”, you have to upload the video first and wait for the initialization to be finished.

Create a new document

1. Open your project.
2. Scroll to the “Documents” section and click “New Document”.
3. Enter a “Title”.
4. Select the “Language” for the audio description. This selection determines which voices you can use for the text-to-speech preview.
5. Click on “Create”.

After creating, the editor opens directly.

Tip: In the next chapter you will find more details about all available settings. Also take a look at the “Import” chapter, if you want to merge e.g. existing subtitles with your audio description.
