How can I split a document?
Do you have a manuscript where you edited subtitles and audio descriptions together, but now need separate documents? Or your script is very long and the editor starts stuttering when playing the video?
Split a document
Frazier offers the ability to split an existing document based on a selected criterion.
- Open the context menu of the document you want to split.
- Select the “Split document…” option.
- Give a “Title”. This will later be automatically expanded for each document created depending on the criterion - for example “New Title (%Voice Name%)”.
- Select a “Criterion”. *
- Click on “Start.”
New documents are now created and the cue points are distributed among the new documents depending on the selected criterion. Of course the original remains.
* Currently only the “Voices” option is available. However, we are working hard on the variant of specifying one or more time codes as a criterion.
