Write faster with shortcuts

There are keyboard shortcuts for all important commands. Take a look.

You should memorize these three keyboard shortcuts for the timeline. Why? These are the three things you will always do when writing an audio description.

  1. “Enter”: Create or edit text block.
  2. “Esc”: Leave text block and save.
  3. “Spacebar”: Start/stop video.

To get used to it, take a look at the “Frazier-Loop” in the next chapter. This shows you the interaction between these three shortcuts.

Tip: You can find a complete overview with all keyboard shortcuts directly in the editor. Simply click on the “Keyboard” icon at the bottom right of the toolbar.
